Robin Connelly was born January 22, 1988 in Idaho. She's lived in Washington, South Carolina, Oregon, California and Kentucky. She currently attends Franklin College where she is a News-Editorial and Public Relations major with a minor in English and anticipates graduating with a Bachelor's degree in May of 2010.
For as long as she can recall, Robin has wanted to be a published novelist and has attended several author lectures, and signings, including those of Laurell K. Hamilton, David Almond, Scott Sanders, Rebecca Reisert, Harlan Cohen and Matthew McMillan.
After writing fiction for years, Robin decided to try her hand in journalism. She also enjoyed a year on the newspaper staff.
Now a junior in college, Robin is a reporter for the college newspaper and attempting to get published. In August 2007, Robin was awarded "Honorable Mention" for Fandemonium's short story contest. In 2008, her short story "It's For The Best" was published in the Apogee, a college literary magazine. She has also had several articles published while interning at the Boise Weekly Newspaper and The Humane Society of Johnson County. Robin is currently interning at Small Box Web Design and Consulting
